Browser, Preview & Download Help

Browser, Preview & Download Help: find your document, prepare your questions, arrange the next step.
Prepare your information, review the recipient’s instructions and keep a copy of your completed document.

When a PDF preview does not appear

Wait for the form’s loading message to change to Ready. If it reports an error, refresh the page and check your internet connection. Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. The blank-original download offers another way to obtain the form if the interactive preview cannot load.

Adobe dynamic forms

Some official forms use Adobe’s dynamic PDF format. Their guided questions may appear on the page even when a conventional PDF preview is unavailable. Download the completed form and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader for review. If the PDF says “Please wait” in a browser viewer, save it and open it in Reader instead.

Finding a downloaded file

  • Check your browser’s Downloads list and the Downloads folder on your device.
  • Look for the form number or a filename ending in “filled.pdf”.
  • If the browser asks where to save, choose a folder you can find again.
  • Check that the file has finished downloading before opening it.

Print and pop-up settings

The document editor’s Print / Save as PDF command opens a browser print window or dialog. Allow that action for this site if your browser blocks it. You do not need to disable your browser’s general security settings or allow pop-ups from unrelated websites. Cancel and retry from the editor if the first attempt is blocked.

Keep your answers safe

Download before refreshing or closing a page. The builders do not automatically save your entries. To resume, use a matching downloaded PDF on the original-form page or reopen a formatted HTML download in the rich text editor.
