Do I need to be in Ontario during the online notarization?
In most cases, you must be physically located in Ontario at the time of the appointment so that the notary can lawfully perform the service under
Ontario regulations. If you are outside Ontario, please contact us to discuss your situation.
What identification do I need?
You will usually need at least one valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver’s licence). In some cases, additional ID
may be required, and we will let you know in advance.
Are online notarizations accepted everywhere?
Many institutions and government bodies now accept properly notarized electronic documents. However, requirements can vary, especially outside
Canada. If your document will be used abroad, please confirm the destination country’s rules or consult with us before your appointment.
